(it used to be a whole cake and shaped like a caterpillar, but we'd been eating it all day before we even lit the candles. lol)

my birthday was perfect.

no, i didn't go out and act like a wild monkey, no, i didn't down 23 bottles of champagne, or have a party, or finally catch up with the billion people i've been meaning to celebrate with, it was private, quiet, meaningful, and everything i hoped it would be....
